A leaking tap in Narrabeen
“Drip, drip, drip…” The sound of water dripping into the pan underneath was beginning to grate on her nerves. Clara lived in a medium sized house in Narrabeen. She worked at the bank but her heart was in the lake and beaches of Narrabeen.This morning too, she had made plans to go to one of the beaches with her friends right after lunch. But, that was when she noticed the leaking tap in her bathroom.
Unlike some of her friends, Clara had little know-how in matters like these and decided that it was best to leave it to someone who could handle it. Unfortunately, that left Clara with one option only – call a plumber!
She went to the Yellow Pages and called a few of the plumbers from the listings, The last plumber said that he could come the next weekend. “Darn, what do I do now? I can’t have the tap leaking for a whole week, Ma,” she told her mum.
Fortunately, her mother who lived in Manly had the number of an expert plumber from Narrabeen who worked in the areas of Pittwater, Dee Why, Brookvale, Mona Vale, Curl Curl and Collaroy. These plumbers had worked on fixing the rainwater tank in her mother’s house and they had done a wonderful job. Besides, these plumbers had a good clientele in all of Narrabeen including [areas]. Her mother was confident that the emergency plumber would attend to her problem that very day. Of course, she would have to cancel her beach plans for the day, her mother pointed out, but the plumbers would come before sunset.
“I would not be too sure of these plumbers if I were you mum. But, I’ll give it a shot,” Clara said. When she called the plumber from Narrabeen, they agreed to come to her house in an hour’s time! She was delighted.
True to their word, the Narrabeen plumber arrived in a little under an hour. The plumber took less than fifteen minutes to replace the washer and fix the leak. That was all there was to it! Clara was impressed by the service of the Narrabeen plumber. They had no qualms in coming over when she called even if it was a small job and they were very quick and thorough with their work.
She noted their number and decided that she would call these plumbers in case of a plumbing emergency in the future.
